Some clients come with a brief. Jack came with a vision.
Before we even had our first proper conversation, he had already been collecting Pinterest photos carefully, saving references that captured exactly what he had in mind. The concept was as romantic as it was precise: twenty-four long-stemmed red roses placed delicately in the snow, forming two natural aisles. Sina would walk between them, completely unaware of what was waiting for her at the end.
As a photographer in Chamonix, this is exactly the kind of project I live for. With over 20 years of experience as a professional portrait photographer and having called the Chamonix Valley home since 2018 I’ve built my work around one simple belief: your vision deserves to be brought to life, not just documented.

Jack was very specific about where he wanted this to happen, Les Houches. And as a proposal photographer in Chamonix, I completely understood why.
It’s one of my absolute favourite mountains in the valley. The scenery is raw, open, and genuinely breathtaking with no crowds, no distractions, just the pure alpine landscape doing what it does best. Interestingly, I had never photographed a proposal there before, which made the whole experience even more exciting.
If you’re exploring the best locations for proposals in Chamonix, Les Houches deserves to be at the top of your list. It offers that perfect balance easy to reach, yet it feels intimate and private.

What the finished photos don’t show you is what it actually took to make this happen.
For anyone looking for truly unique French Alps proposal ideas, Jack’s concept was one of the most thoughtful I’ve encountered. But executing it required more than just creativity, it required preparation.
Those roses were far heavier than anticipated. And with stems that long, they couldn’t simply rest on the surface of the snow they needed to stand perfectly upright. That meant carrying a drill up the mountain to make individual holes for each stem.
A bit of an adventure, honestly. But I come equipped with a problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude. Whatever it takes to make the moment perfect we make it happen.
Every extra step was completely worth it.

When Sina walked through those two aisles of roses and reached Jack at the centre, the setting did exactly what it was designed to do. It made the moment feel as significant and as beautiful as it truly was.
Afterwards, the celebration continued with champagne and rose petals scattered across the snow just the two of them, together, letting it all sink in.

As a proposal photographer in Chamonix with deep knowledge of the valley, part of what I offer isn’t just photography, it’s the full planning experience. From scouting the best locations for proposals in Chamonix to coordinating flowers, champagne, and every detail in between, I’m here to make your proposal as seamless as it is unforgettable.
Whether you already have a Pinterest board full of French Alps proposal ideas or just a feeling that you want it to be somewhere breathtaking, that’s the perfect starting point.
And if your idea involves flowers, a drill, and a mountain as a photographer in Chamonix, I’m more than ready.
Just ask.

With 20+ years behind the lens and a genuine love for the mountains, I do more than take beautiful photos. I learn what matters to you, design your timeline, scout the perfect locations, and show up ready for whatever the Alps throw at us sunrise hikes, ski descents, or a quiet moment by a glacier lake.
Before Chamonix, I founded a UK photography company, captured over 4,000 families many of which we photographed underwater! Before this madness, I briefly ran away with the circus. I moved to the Alps in 2018 and haven’t looked back.
My couples describe working with me as stress-free, fun, and genuinely exciting. That’s the goal every single time.
If you want images that feel real, locations that take your breath away, and a photographer who’s truly in your corner, let’s talk.
