Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and if you haven’t checked your calendar, here is your reminder! Sunday, March 19. This is a day you need to spoil your mum or, if you are a mum, be a little spoilt!

2. Mothers Bespoke Mountain Inspired Jewellery by Michelle Webster (Prices from €75)
Check out her Instagram page @michellewjewelry for her latest designs or head to the Galerie Café des Aiguilles and have a nice cup of chai coffee while you browse her creations. I was lucky enough to get a necklace for my birthday two years ago and I literally never take it off. Mine was custom made and she designed it perfectly for me.
3. Mother’s Day Massage by Iona at Mountain Massage (Prices from €60)
Iona is respected throughout the valley for her strong sports massage and relaxing head massages (www.mountain-massage.fr). Before moving to Chamonix she had previously worked with Scotland Rugby and the IRB Rugby 7s Team so she really knows her stuff. She has fixed me a few times and I can’t recommend her enough.
4. Mothers Line Drawings by Dassine Byd

Check out her latest work on IG @dassine_dessine. You will definitely recognise these drawings. So many of my friends have them framed and looking beautiful in their homes. Such talent and it’s so important to celebrate and support local artists in the valley.
5. Mothers day ‘Mummy and Me’ portraits by Nicola Taverner Njoy Photography (Prices from €60)
I couldn’t write this without mentioning a mothers day photo session (www.njoyphotography.net). This would be the gift that keeps giving…You could buy for your family and then send the images on to your mum and then, guess what…the kids would love it too when they are older. My best advice though, no matter which gift you pick, throw in a thoughtful card. Tell your mum you love her. Speaking as a mum, it’s nice to be reminded how important and cherished you are. Trust me, this will warm her soul.
