An elopement wedding in Chamonix is an intimate mountain ceremony capturing stunning adventure elopement photography against Alpine backdrops. A professional elopement photographer typically costs €1,500-€4,500 for destination wedding elopement packages, depending on duration and services included.

Some love stories unfold slowly. Others simply know when the moment is right.
On Monday morning, I woke up to a very unusual email. The subject line read: “I’m willing to bet you’ve never had a request like ours”. Wedding elopement photos THIS WEEK!!”
A couple had just arrived in Chamonix. That very night, they fell in love with the town. Honestly, who could blame them? It’s romantic, historic, and surrounded by epic mountains.
By Thursday, everything was ready. We met in the town centre and started with a professional photoshoot. As we walked through Chamonix, we captured beautiful moments against the charming alpine architecture. Then, we took the little red cogwheel train up through the valley to the Mer de Glace, one of the most stunning locations for adventure elopement photography.
The views were extraordinary. Mountains to the north, glaciers to the south, and a snowy trail winding into the horizon. Wrapped in warm clothes and glowing with excitement, they found a quiet spot in the snow and exchanged their vows in private, surrounded by nature. It was peaceful, emotional, and incredibly special.
Afterwards, we warmed up inside the cosy Refuge du Montenvers. With espresso martinis in hand and the Alps outside the window, they toasted the moment. Their day was spontaneous, joyful, and full of love.
“I planned a spontaneous trip to the French Alps for Jesse’s bday that quickly turned into an elopement wedding. We fell in love with the town of Chamonix – it was so magical and perfect for our special day. Nicola helped plan everything from location scouting to securing the perfect local jeweller and floral arrangements. She captured the most stunning photos and created the most memorable day. We are still on cloud 9!”

Amy and Jesse’s story
I planned a spontaneous trip to the French Alps for Jesse‘s bday that quickly turned into an elopement wedding. We fell in love with the town of Chamonix – it was so magical and perfect for our special day.
Once we made the decision, Jesse secured Nicola the photographer who coincidentally also helped plan our special day – she provided several options for locations, procured floral arrangements and recommended a local jeweller.
The jeweller had a pop-up in a café in town that was very hard to find! We did three laps and almost gave up – but glad we didn’t, because we found the most perfect ring; The only male appropriate ring in town – that fit his finger – & has the beautiful Mont Blanc skyline etched into it.

I also found a cream coloured sweater at a local shop in town for something ‘white’. The morning of, we met in town to capture the magic of Chamonix.
Then we took the Montenvers train to Mer De Glace (at the top of Mont Blanc) & soaked up the most picturesque scenes. Nicola captured the most stunning photos and created the most memorable day. We are still on cloud 9
